Saturday, April 3rd - Largo Easter Keg Hunt:

The Largo Easter Keg Hunt is an adventure race in aid of charity. Its aim is to provide participants with a memorable day out featuring sightseeing, problem solving and good company with a healthy element of competition thrown in.

There is no set course. Choose your own route, and complete the clues in ANY order, but you may only travel by foot.

You may work with other teams throughout the race.

The course has been designed so everybody finishes in under 3 hours. Return to the finish line at O’Houstons Irish Pub at 4:00pm regardless of where you are on the course for the awards ceremony.

This is a BYODC event - Bring Your Own Digital Camera. Some clues will require a picture as proof of completion. Digital cameras and camera phones are both acceptable.

Your time will be recorded when both teammates have reached the finish line.

Matching outfits (or matching themed uniforms) are required and there is a prize for the best costume at the race!

It will be beneficial to have a phone-a-friend available during the race... and it wouldn't hurt if he/she is a superstar Googler! Know that having someone, whether you or a phone-a-friend, with internet access will be essential to a well-executed race. If you can't find a clue, don't give up! Keep looking, ask for help, have a friend look it up on the Internet, etc. The race is designed so every team should be able to find every clue (perhaps with some effort).
To successfully participate in the race, you will need a digital camera and a pen and paper. A cell phone is optional, but recommended so you can call a friend for help.

Matching outfits and proper identification will be required to participate in the hunt.

For every clue that's incorrect or missing, a 30 minute penalty will be added to your time. You will not have the option of returning to properly complete the clue (but you will not be disqualified).

The Family Division is for any team participating with up to two members under 18 years of age. There is a prize for the winner of the family division.
